TodayI ran into an old friend of mine at Best Buy the other day. Just random crazy shit. I had gone to sell some of my video games (times are rough here, bad enough to sell video games? yes) and stopped into best buy to see what they wanted for memory.
150 bucks for a stick of 512 memory is a hack job and a half.
Anyway, so i'm strolling out of the store and I recognize the kid walking towards me.
-Hey, it's my old buddy Nate-
"Hey nate, whats up?" I kinda mumbled as I walked by. I'm sure he did the same, I heard it.
Of course, then I ran into his dad and we got to talking. Nate came back from the video card aisle with his purchase, and naturally we started talking.
The usual chatter, you know. How you been, whatcha been up to. Yadda yadda. He'd been there to buy Everquest 2, and well, he kinda talked me into it.
So now I at least think we're friends again, which is pretty nice. We did have some good times together, and It's pretty much my fault that I burned all the bridges on some of my own friendships. Then again, I'm famous for that.
